Our team loves putting out a spread for our Yalies, and this year was no different. Although in 2020, all 14 dining halls prepared an amazing assortment of holiday-inspired meals for Harvest Dinner, they were prepared to be taken on the go. This year, Harvest Dinners returned to their full grandeur — with in-person dining across residential colleges on campus.

Jovan Bloise, who joined the management team at Branford and Saybrook college dining halls this year, had this to share:

“My favorite part [of Harvest Dinner] is seeing the students’ reactions. When they walk in and see how elaborate everything is, it’s priceless. The attention to detail and care invested in the food and decorations were in true Yale Hospitality fashion. We worked so hard to plan and execute the evening, the students noticed and were so appreciative. They couldn’t stop thanking us and that right there, made it all worth it!”
