One of the most cherished traditions at Yale is the senior dinner.

“Looking back on my four years here, my most cherished memories surrounded the work of the hospitality team. Tough fall semesters were broken up by the excitement of fall fest (my favorite YH event ever) and fueling up for finals with holiday dinners — and now our senior dinners!” shares a senior from Ezra Stiles.

Senior dinners — hosted across the 14 residential colleges — are a time to reflect on the accomplishments of graduating students and to look back on the friendships, memorable experiences, and the sense of home that has shaped their time at Yale.

During their college dinner, Ezra Stiles Head of College Camacho declared: “Who is the heartbeat of the college? The dining hall staff!”

A student shares, “The friendly faces brought a sense of comfort similar to when my mom would cook one of our favorite meals and watch our faces light up… I am forever grateful to Yale Hospitality for allowing me to reclaim the joy and connection [around] the dinner table.”

After four years of welcoming our seniors with a smile, calling them by name, knowing their preferences by heart, and providing a sense of home within their colleges — we are so very proud of you!

Congratulations, Class of 2023 — we can’t wait to see what you do next!
